Work 1:1 With Phil

For people who are tired of pretending they’re okay.

Grief has a way of taking over everything. Your mind. Your body. Your relationships. Your faith. Your work. Your sense of who you are.

People mean well, but most of them don’t know what to say. So they reach for advice, clichés, or silence.

And you’re left carrying something too heavy to explain.

This is where 1:1 coaching begins.

Not with fixing you. Not with rushing you. Not with telling you to move on.

We start by giving language to what is happening inside you, then we build a path forward, one honest step at a time.

This is for you if...

You feel stuck in grief and don’t know how to move forward.
You’re exhausted from acting normal.
You feel guilt, anger, numbness, anxiety, or regret.
You miss who you used to be.
You’re tired of people trying to fix your pain.
You want to carry your person with love, not be crushed by absence.

What working together looks like

Private. Honest. Practical.

We talk about what grief is doing to your mind, body, emotions, relationships, and identity.

Then we work with it. Not against it.

Together, we’ll work through:

  • Why your grief feels so overwhelming
  • Why your thoughts keep looping
  • Why guilt shows up so often
  • Why your body feels tense, tired, or shut down
  • How to stay connected without losing yourself
  • How to rebuild without feeling like you’re betraying them

My approach

I don’t teach grief from theory.

I teach it from the ground I had to crawl through.

After losing my 14-year-old son, Perry, I searched for help and found plenty of information, but not enough truth. Not enough humanity. Not enough guidance for the moments when grief takes your breath away and nobody around you knows what to do.

So I built the kind of support I needed. Grounded. Honest. Practical. Human.

What we work on

Guilt and regret Anger and resentment Anxiety and fear Numbness Faith questions Relationship strain Loss of identity Finding meaning

The goal is not to erase your grief.

The goal is to help you stop being ruled by it.

You will learn how to understand what is happening inside you, respond with more clarity, and build a life where your person still matters.

Not as something you leave behind. As someone you carry forward.

Ready to talk?

The first step is a private call with me.

No pressure. No performance. No pretending. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re carrying, and whether 1:1 grief coaching is the right fit.
